Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our finance function in managing daily financial operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, auditing and payroll processisng. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within finance and accounting functions.

Duties

Assist with processing invoices in accordance with company policies
Auditing and reconciliation of previous days business
Payroll processing and related administrative tasks
Sales ledger control
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial procedures and system

Skills

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel;
Experience with Sage or similar package is desirable but not essential
Excellent numerical skills and a good understanding of basic accounting principles
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Prior experience in payroll processing is advantageous but not essential

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in finance within a professional environment.

Pay: £14.00-£14.30 per hour
