Marketing & Office Administrator – Milton Keynes Office
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and personable Office Administrator to join our Milton Keynes office team. This is a varied and rewarding role that provides administrative support across our legal, reception and marketing teams, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
About the Firm
We are a dynamic national law firm with 12 offices, specialising exclusively in family law. We provide expert advice to both private and legally aided clients and believe every client should be treated as though they are our only client. By listening to their concerns, understanding their needs, remaining approachable and supporting them through difficult times, we strive to deliver the highest standard of service.
About the Role
This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple departments and can confidently manage a range of administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands. To provide support to our legal teams with general administration, assist the reception team in delivering a professional front-of-house service towards the end of the day and during lunch times, and help the marketing team with a variety of administrative and organisational activities.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a willingness to support colleagues across the business are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support to the marketing manager, assisting with ad- hoc marketing and projects as required.
- Providing administrative support to the legal team to assist with the progression and management of client matters.
- Supporting the reception team by providing lunch cover and cover towards the end of the day
- Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Assisting with appointment scheduling and diary management.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and general office administration.
- Maintaining accurate records and electronic filing systems.
- Ensuring reception and communal areas remain tidy, welcoming and professional.
- Assisting colleagues across departments with general administrative duties as required.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times in accordance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
Key Requirements
- Previous administrative experience in a professional office environment (legal experience is desirable but not essential).
- Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A willingness to work collaboratively across legal, reception and marketing functions to support the wider business.
Working Hours
- 35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Pay: From £23,132.20 per year
