Full job description

Clearview is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our growing Finance team based in Bradford. This role has been created due to continued year-on-year business growth and offers an excellent opportunity to develop within a supportive finance function.

This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, although part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of your workload while receiving ongoing support and training. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a proactive, can-do attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting with the purchase ledger, including processing and posting supplier invoices
Generating and reconciling purchase orders
Performing daily bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing and reconciling company credit card transactions and receipts
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Supporting the internal credit control function
Maintaining reconciliation schedules and Excel-based trackers
Handling supplier and customer queries or disputes professionally
Assisting with financial analysis and general finance administration tasks

What we’re looking for

Essential

Previous experience in an accounts or finance role within a fast-paced environment
Confident, proactive, and customer-focused approach
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Ability to manage workload effectively and solve problems independently
Good working knowledge of Excel (e.g. formulas, reconciliation work)

Desirable

Experience using Xero (training can be provided)
Studying or interested in studying AAT
