Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role is vital in upholding the safety standards of our organisation and providing a welcoming yet controlled atmosphere for all patrons. The position offers an engaging environment where your responsibilities directly contribute to the overall security and smooth operation of our venue.

Duties

Monitor entry points and conduct thorough checks to verify identification and prevent unauthorised access
Conduct regular patrols around the venue to identify potential security risks or suspicious behaviour
Enforce venue policies by managing crowd control and handling disruptive behaviour professionally
Assist with loss prevention by identifying theft or unauthorised activities and responding appropriately
Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid when necessary
Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for future reference
Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies

Experience

Prior experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention roles is advantageous
Ability to perform basic first aid procedures confidently and effectively
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in recognising suspicious activity or potential hazards
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
A valid security licence or certification is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training can be arranged for suitable candidates
