Full job description

We are looking for skilled CNC Machining Operators/Setters to work in our Machining section, this position is available as a full-time, permanent position, with an immediate start available.

Salary is negotiable depending on prior experience and skill, with the potential for progression within the CNC department.

The main duties of the role are to:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Work closely with the Inspection team to assure dimensional accuracy of product.

For this role, we require:
- Experience as a CNC Operator or similar role, preferably working with castings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of logic controllers and CNC programming, preferably Fanuc controls.

To begin with, the successful candidate will work on our day shift, getting used to the work that we do, the machines that we have and working with everyone in the machining team. After this initial period (no more than 3-months), the successful candidate will switch onto our shift pattern of 1 week early, 1 week late shifts. The late shift includes a shift premium of £1.50 extra per hour.

We offer weekly pay and 23 days paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays on top.
