Sales Advisor (IT & Admin Focus, Part-Time 16–24 hrs/week)

Are you organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping people? Babylady Ltd is seeking a Sales Advisor with a flair for IT and admin to join our friendly team.

About the Role:

16–24 hours per week (including Saturdays)
Mix of in-store sales, admin, and IT support
Help us improve our systems and processes as we grow

You’ll Be:

Friendly and empathetic, able to connect with customers and colleagues
Highly organised, with a keen eye for detail
Experienced with technology—comfortable with admin systems, Google Suite, and interested in AI tools
Eager to help us update, streamline, and future-proof our business
A proactive team player, ready to pitch in wherever needed

Job Description: Sales Advisor (IT & Admin Focus)Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable advice
Support with day-to-day sales and admin tasks (order processing, stock management, customer records)
Help review and improve our systems (Google Sheets, WooCommerce, CRM, etc.)
Identify and suggest new tools or processes to make the business run more smoothly (including AI solutions)
Troubleshoot basic IT issues and support the team with tech queries
Maintain accurate records and help ensure data security and GDPR compliance
Contribute to team meetings and share ideas for improvement
Help with in-store displays and ensure the shop floor is tidy and inviting

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in retail, sales, or admin
Strong IT skills (Google Suite, spreadsheets, email, basic troubleshooting)
Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
Good communicator, able to explain tech concepts simply
Willingness to work some Saturdays

Desirable

Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce or similar)
Familiarity with AI tools or automation (training provided)
Interest in baby/children’s products (training provided)

Personal Qualities

Empathetic and helpful, with a can-do attitude
Curious and eager to learn new systems
Team player, happy to support others

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
