Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional kitchen environment. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation of the section to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering when necessary
Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as required

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in a hospitality environment
Passionate about delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining consistency in presentation and flavour
