Pay Rate: £30,000
Grade: M
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (Hybrid working, 2 days at home, 3 days in office)
Location: Birmingham

We're now looking for a Procurement Analyst!

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Identifying and implementing the most reliable and cost effective freight solutions for the contract for their European transport activity.
Liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base.
Procurement analyst will collaborate closely with other DHL LLP teams.
Carrying out on-going carrier research to identify potential new carriers.
Providing support to EU procurement managers on strategic re-plans, contingency planning and benchmarking.
Maintaining team's documents - rate matrix, route profiles, RAS's etc.
Implementing all required day-to-day changes to collection network while taking into account cost/ service level /risk /customer's perspective. Identifying improvements to routes.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Possess strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs
Are proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
Are comfortable working with data and producing accurate results
Ideally have exposure to European transport or experience working in a similar environment (desirable, not essential)
