Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser / Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and supporting pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to patient safety. Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
Provide medication administration support to patients under supervision
Offer compassionate patient care, including answering queries and providing medication guidance
Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations
Support inventory management by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient pharmacy workspace

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is preferred but not essential; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or related field is desirable but not mandatory
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
