Job Role: Finance Assistant
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + bonus + benefits
Location: Bath - hybrid from your first day (2 office days)

Your Impact:

As a Finance Assistant at Contracts Advance, you'll support the smooth running of the finance function, helping with sales ledger activity, invoicing, reconciliations, payroll preparation and day-to-day finance administration.

Day to day you will:

Support sales ledger maintenance, debt chasing and accurate invoice processing.
Process supplier invoices, respond to supplier and client queries and support timely payments.
Complete bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Assist with payroll preparation, including gathering information, wage payments and HMRC support.
Support balance sheet reconciliations, P&L preparation, finance inbox management and ad hoc analysis projects.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

Demonstrable experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME environment.
Good working knowledge of Xero or similar finance software, plus Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
A proactive, positive and methodical approach, with excellent communication skills.
The ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and reliably
AAT study or similar would be a bonus.
