Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Home. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, support patient recovery, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and expertise in patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering excellent nursing services.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans and protocols
Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and update medical records accurately
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating personalised care plans
Provide health education and support to patients and their families
Demonstrate leadership by supervising junior staff and mentoring new team members
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nursing

Qualifications

Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong nursing skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Proficient in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining patient-centred focus
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards
