Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Home. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, support patient recovery, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans and protocols
- Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and update medical records accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating personalised care plans
- Provide health education and support to patients and their families
- Demonstrate leadership by supervising junior staff and mentoring new team members
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nursing
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong nursing skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Proficient in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining patient-centred focus
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards
