Full job description

Middle Barton Garage, Middleton Cheney (near Banbury)

Hours: Part-time (approx. 15–20 hours/week, flexible schedule)

Pay: £13-£16 p/h (dependent on experience)

About Us:

Middle Barton Garage is a renowned independent specialist with a 40-year legacy in classic Italian cars, now expanding into modern Abarths. Alongside our busy workshop, we run a dedicated mail-order parts operation supplying Italian car enthusiasts across the UK and beyond.

We are looking for an organized, reliable person to help manage our front-of-house admin and run our parts processing division.

Key Responsibilities:

Parts Processing & Shipping: Taking incoming parts orders over the phone and online, carefully packaging items, booking couriers, and sending out parcels.
Stock Control: Updating stock levels, adjusting inventory, and ordering genuine OE replacement parts from suppliers.
Front Office Admin: Answering telephone enquiries, taking customer bookings, creating job cards, and issuing invoices.
Marketing: Posting updates, rare parts, and completed workshop projects onto Facebook and Instagram.

What We Are Looking For:

Great attention to detail and a polite, helpful phone manner.
Ability to physically package parts securely for dispatch.
Basic computer confidence (for stock management, print labels, and basic invoicing).
Previous experience in an automotive parts, warehouse, or garage environment is a massive bonus, but full training on our specific stock will be provided.

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
