Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking for your next step? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy is key? Ready to make a real impact supporting operational decision-making?

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Selby. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting operational teams, analysing financial performance, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple contracts.

This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an on-site role, you will be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Produce weekly management information and monthly financial packs across site contracts
Monitor cost flows, budgets, and forecasts, identifying trends and variances
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed analysis
Process internal cross charges, trial balances, and financial data accurately
Ensure purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed efficiently

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Strong Excel skills (including formulas) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Confident communicator able to engage with multiple stakeholders
Previous finance experience with a proactive, self-motivated approach
