Job Overview
We are a modern and attractive dental and aesthetics practice seeking an energetic and welcoming Front of House Receptionist/Administrator to be the friendly face of our organisation.
Previous experience in a dental or aesthetics practice is not necessary. Experience working successfully in a client-facing role in a setting such as dental practice, beauty salon, any hospitality setting or similar will be an advantage but relevant additional training will be provided for the successful candidate.
In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, visitors and team members, ensuring a smooth and professional experience at all times. Your proactive approach and excellent organisational skills will help create a positive environment that reflects our commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
- Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain the reception and non-clinical areas, keeping these tidy, organised, and inviting
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing mail, and maintaining records
- Collecting payments and completing end of day banking protocols
- Support office operations by coordinating supplies and assisting with administrative duties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication across departments
Skills
- Prior office experience demonstrating professionalism and reliability
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Numerate and comfortable discussing fees and collecting payments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools
- Friendly demeanor with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and customer service
