Full job description

Job Purpose:

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Car Valeter at our Preparation Centre in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hrs per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fully valeting cars to the highest standard
Identifying damage, vehicle defects or shortages from vehicle specifications
Carrying out internal and external inspections of vehicles to identify deterioration and damage
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valet bay, tools, and equipment.
Follow all health & safety procedures, including safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

What we are looking for!

Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing (preferred but not essential — training can be provided).
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
A full, valid UK driving licence is required
