Full job description

On the 1 August 2026, The University of Greenwich and the University of Kent will form a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group. Are you motivated by turning data into meaningful insight that influences strategic decisions? Do you enjoy identifying trends, understanding customer behaviour and presenting complex information in a way that drives action?

We are looking for a Market Insight Analyst to join our Planning team and play a key role in informing the University's student recruitment, portfolio development and strategic planning.

As Market Insight Analyst you can expect to be involved in:

- Leading market research and insight projects to support student recruitment across UK and international markets.
- Analysing market trends, prospective student behaviours and competitor activity to identify opportunities and emerging challenges.
- Translating complex data from multiple sources into clear, engaging reports, presentations and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the University, particularly in External Engagement, to deliver research that informs strategic decision-making

What will you bring to the role?

- Knowledge of the UK higher education landscape and student recruitment market.
- Excellent report writing and data visualisation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience of managing research projects.
- Strong digital and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making through evidence-based insight.
