Overview

We are seeking a proactive, reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team in a varied, hands on role combining administrative/ clerical duties with warehouse and stock responsibilities to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will support daily operational functions, streamline administrative processes, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a role where no two days are quite the same and who is equally comfortable working at a desk as they are getting involved with day to day warehouse operations. Your energy and organizational skills will help keep our operations efficient and effective, contributing directly to our overall success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage and coordinate office activities, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette to assist clients and team members
Perform data entry tasks accurately using tools like Microsoft Office, Sage Accounts and Schedule It to update records and financial information
Organize files, documents, and correspondence to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company standards
Support inventory management by tracking supplies and processing purchase orders as needed
Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
Liaise with warehouse operatives and book stock in and out
Assist with clerical duties such as preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and managing email communications
Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Previous clerical experience that highlights reliability and multitasking abilities would be helpful
