Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie or Commis Chef, to join our dynamic culinary team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting in kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Support the kitchen team during service hours by ensuring timely meal preparation and serving.
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to create innovative menu items and improve existing dishes.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic culinary techniques.
Experience serving guests or working in a customer-focused setting is a plus.
