Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pump Assembly supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality pumps, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and meet strict quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. The ideal applicant will have experience in assembly within a warehouse or manufacturing environment and possess excellent organisational skills to support efficient production processes and to supervise staff

Responsibilities

Assemble pump components accurately according to technical specifications and diagrams
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and productivity
Assist in troubleshooting / allocation of work
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during assembly operations
Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of parts and tools as needed
Ladder logic experience an advantage

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes
Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches
Experience using power tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing setting
Previous warehouse experience and supervisory experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work methodically under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
Prior experience in pump assembly or related mechanical roles is advantageous
