Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join the team at our award-winning mediterranean-inspired restaurant, just outside Belfast.

45 hours per week, spread across Tuesday-Sunday (two days off per week). One-two evenings maximum per week.

Minimum five years experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes within your designated section, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence.
Oversee daily kitchen operations related to your section, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the head chef and team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment.
Ensure inventory levels are maintained by accurately managing stock and communicating supply needs promptly.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work area to promote efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of meal preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in a professional kitchen.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.

Pay: From £38,000.00 per month
