Full job description

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys operating technical machinery. Full level 3 training will be provided by BPIF Training with the possibility of going to level 5. The print industry has diversified considerably over the years with equipment packed full of technology.

Woking alongside some real craftsmen learning decades of skills and expertise. The day involves preparing paper for press, learning how to operate a press, preparing printed sheets for various finishing operations including die cutting, foiling, embossing, laminating, folding and stitching. The apprenticeship involves all aspects of the printing process, although it will mainly focus on finishing.

The training is provided by BPIF Training up to level 3, however a level 5 may well be possible in the future. This coupled with on the job training from a selection of our skilled colleagues.

This is a full-time apprenticeship position that will automatically turn into a skilled position once the apprenticeship is complete. Prospects include the opportunity to become the MD of the company if you so wish so and have the desire to learn and achieve.
