Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Collections Manager to support the delivery of our Merchant Revenue Operations team in Manchester Team. Join our ever-evolving Global team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

Lead and oversee day-to-day collections activities, ensuring outstanding balances are recovered in a timely and professional manner.

Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce delinquency rates, improve cash flow, and optimise overall team performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through the implementation of automation tools, systems, and technologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
Monitor team performance, providing coaching, training, regular feedback, and ongoing support to drive engagement and achieve departmental objectives.
Ensure all collection activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Collaborate closely with internal departments and key stakeholders to resolve customer disputes, streamline processes, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Analyse collection performance metrics and reporting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the development and implementation of best practices, ensuring a consistent and customer-focused approach to debt recovery.

What you’ll bring

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse data, produce reports, identify trends, and support business decision-making.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience using collections systems, software, and tools to effectively manage workflows, monitor performance, and drive operational efficiency.
A results-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

It’s a bonus if you have

Proven experience in developing, implementing, and refining debt collection policies and procedures.

Strong understanding of credit risk management.
Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and key stakeholders, ensuring service levels are maintained and business objectives are achieved.
