We’re Hiring: Part -Time Security Officer

Location: Wrexham, UK
Pay: £14.78 per hour
Hours: 2 x 12 hour shifts p/week (Average over a 17-week period = 21 hours p/week) – Days and Night shifts Operation (0600 – 1800) – (1800 -0600)

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Support security lodge operations, adapting to operational requirements and business needs.
Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in accordance with site procedures and client requirements.
Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

Valid SIA License SG or DS.
First Aid.
Driving Licence.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Previous security experience
Good working knowledge of security operations and security systems.
Ability to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstance and events.
Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
