Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health! Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations
Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and current dental concerns
Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment notes and imaging results, in compliance with privacy regulations
Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized care plans based on patient needs and imaging results

Skills

Proficiency in dental software systems - SOE currently used in practice
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dental diagnostics
Strong understanding of human anatomy, especially oral cavity structures, to accurately assess patient conditions
Excellent communication skills to educate and reassure patients effectively
Ability to operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection control protocols
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient files and imaging data
Ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced environment
