Full job description

The Wellness Sanctuary are looking for an experienced sports massage and holistic beauty therapist who would be willing to work on a self-employed basis.

The candidate must be friendly, eager to learn new things, willing to go the extra mile and a good team player. We are a small group and look for someone to fit perfectly into our spa family! The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of sports injuries and be able to provide deep tissue massage.

Our ethos is mixing holistic, relaxing experiences with science. Whether our clients are having a facial or massage, their issues will be helped with our strong knowledge backed by science but their relaxing, tranquil experience will be down to our holistic, spa knowledge. We have created a clinic where our clients can have it all. If you feel like you would be a good fit to our team, please email us with your c.v and we can arrange for you to come in for a chat.

The successful candidate will be managing some existing clients along with a strong flow of new clients. It is paramount that the candidate has availability from Monday to Friday between 9am-7:30pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm, as these are the busiest times, but flexibility is an option that can be discussed. Ideally we are looking for someone to come in 3 days a week with the availability to cover more if needed.

Experience:

- Minimum 1 years’ experience treating clients.

- Qualifications in holistic therapies such as reflexology/Indian Head and Facials

- Minimum of level 3 qualification in Massage

- SMA, ISRM or registered with another professional body

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement therapy to improve condition and/or reduce pain and develop appropriate care plans for clients

- Explain the treatment required to the client - Offer specialist advice and education on how to avoid injury and promote the client’s future health and wellbeing

- Record client notes and update CRM.
