Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Self employed Gardener to join our small team during the busy season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and horticulture, with experience in landscape maintenance. The successful applicant will play a vital part in ensuring our gardens are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing.

The role is for 2 to 3 days work a week.

Responsibilities

Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform planting, pruning, trimming, and general garden maintenance
Maintain flower beds, lawns, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features according to specified standards (including hand weeding)
Support seasonal planting and composting activities
Ensure all tools and equipment are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained

Requirements

Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles
Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools
Growing experience or a keen interest in plant cultivation is advantageous
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A responsible attitude towards safety procedures and equipment handling

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
