Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Transport Office & Operations Assistant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the transport office . This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of ensuring the smooth running of the company whether keeping the operations system all up to date ,allocating work , other general office work etc . This role provides a rewarding platform for growth and impact for a expanding company

Duties

Assist with daily transportation management system (TMS) operations to coordinate vehicles and drive
Support inventory management activities by assisting with movements, order processing, and workshop documentation
Uphold professional phone etiquette while managing inquiries related to transportation quotations and bookings ,
Proficiency with Computing and transportation management systems though training will be given
Excellent analysis skills to interpret operational data and recommend improvements
Effective communication skills for clear interaction with team members, vendors, carriers, and clients
Accurate data entry abilities combined with typing skills to ensure timely record updates
Exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism in handling inquiries related to transportation operations

Ideally the applicant will have worked in the industry or similar transport industry work though training will be provided .

A Category D licence would be beneficial but not essential as this can be gained whilst working

Pay: £550.00-£1,000.00 per week
