Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our busy operations team. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of our transport office, ensuring smooth daily dispatch and clear communication between drivers, management, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Driver & Route Support: Brief and debrief drivers daily and resolve transit issues in real time.
Documentation & Data Entry: Process dispatch paperwork, proof of deliveries (PODs), and maintain accurate records in our Transport Management System (TMS).
Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for delivery queries, updating customers on schedule changes or delays.
General Admin: Queries, creating manifests and general office support.

Key Requirements

Experience: Prior administrative experience
Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word)
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle drivers and customers effectively.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We currently have 2 positions available.

Monday to Friday - 13:00 to 19:30 (30 hours per week) £19,827.60 per annum

Monday to Friday - 16:30 to (15 hours per week) £9,913.80 per annum

Pay: £9,913.80-£19,827.60 per year
