Landscape Garden Designer / Estimator
Full-time | Based at Five Sisters Zoo, West Calder

Part Time Work Schedule
Company Van Provided | Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience

Landscape Zoolutions, part of Five Sisters Zoo, is looking for a skilled and creative Landscape Garden Designer / Estimator to join our growing team.

We specialise in designing and delivering high-quality landscaping projects for both private clients and commercial environments, including themed enclosures and visitor spaces within the zoo. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to take their first steps in landscape design or for someone looking to further develop their skills. You will get the opportunity to work in a varied and rewarding role within a unique setting

Role Responsibilities:

Create detailed garden and landscape designs, including planting plans and hard landscaping layouts.
Meet with clients to understand their needs and translate ideas into professional designs.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess conditions and gather measurements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, materials lists, and project timelines.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and the landscaping team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Contribute to zoo development projects, including animal enclosures and public spaces.

Requirements:

Strong understanding in landscape or garden design.
Estimating knowledge, including materials, labour, and time management.
Strong skills in design software
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
