Full job description

Job Description:

PMC Construction & Development Services is a £50m turnover Construction Business, operating since 1982, developing housing and commercial schemes across the South of England.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive individual to join our friendly Finance team at our offices in Cosham, on a part-time basis.

Expected Hours – 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours negotiable)

Part-Time Salary – £17,277 to £20,732 (dependent on hours)

Interviews are planned for Tuesday 8th September 2026

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

· Reception/Office Admin Duties – answering all external phone calls and greeting visitors on arrival

· Managing incoming and out-going post

· Overseeing and ordering office, stationery and staff welfare supplies

· Managing all due diligence checks on a daily basis

· Processing utility bills on a weekly basis and posting to Sage

· Managing the processing and reconciliation of all credit card payments with receipts on a weekly basis, and posting to Sage

· Monitoring of supplier rebates

· Management of petty cash on a weekly basis and posting to Sage

· Other duties, as required

Skills Required

· Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a similar position

· Experience of Sage 50 Accounts is essential

· Ability to prioritise work due to ever-changing workflows, in a demanding and fast-paced environment

· Excellent organisation skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to take a proactive approach and work on own initiative

· Competent user of MS Excel, Outlook, Word

· Ability to work well in a team environment
