Full job description

St Johns Garden Centre are seeking a Part Time Cook/ Kitchen Assistant to help in the operation of our restaurant at Ashford Garden Centre, EX31 4BW.

As a Cook/Kitchen assistant, you will be essential in supporting our chefs to deliver high-quality meals while ensuring food safety standards are met. This position will involve all types of catering work including food preparation, cooking breakfasts and lunches as well as other duties within the kitchen and restaurant environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to assist in meal preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.

Hours: Full time to include alternate weekends
