Postal Repairs UK operates one of the UK's leading specialist watch repair businesses, handling thousands of customer repairs each year from across the UK.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Watch Repair Technician to join our workshop team and help increase our repair capacity and turnaround times.

The Role
This role is focused on practical watch repairs and workshop production rather than high-end restoration or manufacturer accreditation work.
We are seeking a technician who enjoys hands-on repair work, takes pride in quality workmanship and can work efficiently within a structured workshop environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with our administration and customer service teams to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and delivered within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch battery replacements.
- Case resealing and gasket replacement.
- Pressure and water resistance testing.
- Quartz fault diagnosis.
- Quartz movement replacement.
- Crown and stem repairs.
- Glass replacement and fitting.
- Strap and bracelet fitting and adjustments.
- General watch repairs and maintenance.
- Final testing and quality control.
- Recording repair notes and workshop findings accurately.
- Supporting workshop productivity and repair throughput.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional workspace.

Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Battery replacement and resealing.
- Pressure testing.
- Quartz diagnostics.
- Movement exchanges.
- Crown, stem and glass repairs.
- Bracelet and strap work.
- Experience with ETA, Ronda, Miyota and Seiko movements.
- Experience working within a watch repair centre, jeweller or service workshop.
Please note this role is focused primarily on production watch repairs and quartz work rather than complex mechanical restoration or manufacturer accreditation servicing.

Requirements
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to reliably commute to Altrincham WA14.
- Minimum two years' practical watch repair experience.
- Experience working with batteries, quartz movements and general watch repairs.
- Comfortable handling valuable customer property.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
