Full job description

JOB TITLE: Security Officer

LONCATION: Larbert

PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour

TYPE: Part Time

HOURS: 21hrs per week (Mon - Thu from 1600-1930hrs and Fri 1200 -1930hrs as well as holiday cover)

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a customer focused security officer to join our team. You will provide a high level of customer service, respond to first aid, fire and emergency incidents and support with security issues.

Responsibilities

Controlling access and egress to the site
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Liaising with building tenants, contractors and visitors
Providing a high level of customer service
Responding to all incidents; assisting in emergencies and evacuations
Maintaining security equipment
Conducting patrols
Managing keys
Writing reports and maintaining good records.

Experience

You must be capable of dealing with a variety of situations in a calm and professional manner.
You will have strong customer service focused attention to detail and the initiative to both identify and implement best practice.
You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English.
You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
You are well-presented at all times.

Licence Requirements:

You must have a current SIA Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.

Job requirements:

You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment history and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).

START DATE: Immediate upon successful completion of screening

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
