Full job description

About Us
Parkland is an AA Five Star Platinum, adults-only caravan, camping and glamping site set in the beautiful South Devon countryside near Kingsbridge. We are proud of our award-winning standards and the peaceful, welcoming environment we provide for our guests.

Due to retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable hands-on person to join our small, friendly team in a varied, year-round role.

The Role

This is a hands-on position involving a wide range of duties to help maintain the high standards of our site.

The position includes the following work, but are not limited to:

Grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and pitch maintenance
General repairs and upkeep across the site, facilities and glamping units
Managing waste and recycling
Pressure washing, cleaning decking, gutters and fascias
Painting and general maintenance as required
Safe operation and maintenance of tools and machinery
Carrying out routine health and safety checks
Assisting housekeeping team
Welcoming and assisting guests, showing them to pitches and answering queries
Supporting the site owner with additional tasks as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is friendly, honest and proactive
Ideally has previous experience in a similar hands-on role
Takes pride in their work and attention to detail
Has good customer service skills
Understands and follows health and safety procedures
Can work independently and as part of a small team
Is flexible with working days and hours (including occasional weekends)
Holds a clean UK driving licence (ideally)
Has the right to work in the UK
