Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Curriculum Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and personalised tutoring sessions, fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys while developing your teaching skills. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about education and student development.

Duties

Deliver customised GCSE tutoring sessions across various subjects, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards
Assess students’ current understanding and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs
Support students in developing effective study techniques and exam preparation strategies
Monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
Create engaging lesson plans that promote active participation and foster confidence in subject matter
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to support student success
Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that motivates students to achieve their academic potential

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE-level subjects
Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum across relevant subjects
Experience working with children or young learners, including those with special educational needs
Tutors who have achieved QTS or have degree in relavant subject they are tutoring
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and patiently
Organised with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Passionate about education and committed to supporting student achievement

This role is ideal for enthusiastic educators or recent graduates seeking to develop their teaching expertise while making a difference in students’ lives.

This is a self employed position

Pay: £28.00-£30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
