Junior Administrative Assistant

About Smartfits Installations Ltd

Smartfits Installations Ltd is a fast-growing, family-run business specialising in vehicle tracking, camera, and fleet management solutions across the UK. We support customers through both installation-only services and fully managed supply-and-install solutions, working with leading technology platforms and manufacturers.

We work with major national clients as well as businesses managing their own fleets, delivering professional, reliable, and scalable installation programmes nationwide.

Due to continued growth and an increasing number of national contracts, we are expanding our Operations team and are looking to recruit a proactive and organised individual to join our growing team as a Junior Administrative Assistant.

This role is ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in administration. Full training will be provided, and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good IT skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to work.

This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting our Field Operation support team and Project coordinators with day-to-day administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring our processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The Role

You will be required to use Outlook, Excel, Word, and our bespoke booking system on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include:

Assisting our Operations Lead with administrative tasks
Allocate unassigned tickets to office staff in a timely and accurate manner
Update and maintain our customer’s Portal’s to ensure job and engineer information is current
Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries appropriately
Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and handle additional calls as required
Maintaining accurate records and documentation

What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
A reasonable understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
Professional and reliable approach to work
Previous administration or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
