Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Front of House Person to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or the hospitality industry is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a friendly atmosphere
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
Prepare basic food items and beverages, including barista-style coffee if applicable
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Handle customer enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Assist with setting up event spaces or special functions as required
Uphold food safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation and food safety practices
Experience working in a restaurant environment or as a barista is advantageous
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and duties as needed
