Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Wellbeing Advisor to champion health and wellness initiatives within our community. In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted guide, providing personalized support, education, and resources to promote holistic wellbeing. Your energetic approach will inspire individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles, improve mental resilience, and foster a positive environment for all. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while developing your expertise in health promotion and public engagement.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging wellbeing workshops and seminars on topics such as nutrition, mental health, stress management, and healthy living.
Provide one-on-one consultations to assess individual wellbeing needs and develop tailored action plans.
Educate community members about medical terminology, health practices, and available resources to empower informed decisions.
Promote healthy habits through public speaking engagements at events, schools, or community centers.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and organizations to coordinate wellness programs and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of participant progress, feedback, and program outcomes to evaluate effectiveness.
Stay current with developments in public health, nursing practices, and nutrition to ensure the delivery of accurate and up-to-date information.

Qualifications

Proven experience or background in nursing, public health, teaching, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nutrition principles, and health promotion strategies.
Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
Compassionate listener with the ability to provide empathetic support and guidance.
Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly and effectively.
Prior experience in delivering educational programs or facilitating group activities is preferred.
A proactive attitude with a passion for improving community wellbeing through education and outreach.
