Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled confectioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious baked goods. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

PART TIME.

Previous experience preferred, however, full training will be provided.

You will need to be positive, confident, enthusiastic and committed with a strong sense of team spirit and real pride in what you do.

You will play a key part in producing confectionary lines such as cupcakes, fresh cream cakes and seasonal cakes.

Full UK Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen to comply with food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new recipes and improve existing offerings.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong skills with experience in food production and preparation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
Creative flair for baking and decorating pastries.
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
Previous experience in a bakery setting is advantageous but not essential.
