Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic food production environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality culinary products. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in food preparation and culinary arts, with a strong focus on food safety and quality standards. This position is suitable for those with prior restaurant or kitchen experience who are eager to develop their skills further.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food products in accordance with established recipes and standards
Assist in butchery tasks, including portioning and trimming meats
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Contribute to continuous improvement of food preparation processes

Qualifications

Previous experience in food production, culinary roles, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Experience in food preparation, including butchery and general kitchen duties
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced setting
Basic understanding of hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
