Full job description

Our childcare setting has grown at a considerable rate over the last few years thanks to a growing and experienced childcare team, a dedicated committee and families in the local community who trust, use and support our service.

Carrickroe, Emyvale - North Monaghan - 5 min drive from Aughnacloy.

Carrickroe Community Childcare are delighted to advertise a new position:

Early Years & SAC Educator - 2 positions available

Criteria:

Minimum QQI Level 5 or BTEC Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education is required.
Previous experience in a childcare setting would be an advantage.
An applied knowledge of the Early Years Frameworks Aistear and Siolta and Planning Practices would be an advantage.
Be flexible, child focused, have a positive mindset and motivation.
Be a positive role model demonstrating Patience, Understanding and Empathy towards children, families and team members.
Excellent communication skills with both children, parents and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Willing to participate in ongoing training and development. First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection Training would be an advantage but will be provided otherwise.
Competitive Pay Scales will be offered to the right person based on qualification and experience.
