Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Barber to join our team. As a Senior Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality barbering services to our clients while also mentoring and guiding Graduate Barbers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the art of barbering, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and other services with precision and attention to detail.
Provide personalised consultations to clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in barbering and incorporate them into your work to provide your services.
Mentor and train junior barbers, providing guidance on techniques, customer service, and professional development.
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the barber shop including workstations, tools, and equipment.
Manage appointment bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely service delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service.
Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the barber shop.
Uphold company standards and policies at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Barber with a minimum of 2 years fully qualified.
Extensive knowledge of barbering techniques, styles, and trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and precision in grooming services.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior barbers.
Professional appearance and demeanour.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A passion for barbering and dedication to providing exceptional service to clients.
