Location: Dumfries, Scotland
Salary: £13.70 per hour
Hours: Full Time
Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks paid annual leave per year
Reporting to: Service Manager
Requirements: Full driving licence and access to a reliable car

About the Role

Willstac Home Care is looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Senior Support Practitioner to join our team in Dumfries.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

As a senior member of the team, you will also provide guidance and support to other care staff and assist the Service Manager in maintaining safe, effective and consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
Support with personal care, medication, meal preparation and daily living activities.
Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
Support individuals to attend appointments and participate in community activities.
Provide guidance and support to Support Practitioners.
Assist with care plans, risk assessments and monitoring the quality of care.
Maintain accurate care records and report concerns or changes in people's needs.
Support new staff through induction, shadowing and workplace guidance.
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and other professionals.
Support safeguarding and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Uphold the SSSC Codes of Practice and maintain professional standards.

In possession of a full driving licence and access to a reliable car.
