About the Role:
Belfast has developed into a thriving centre for technology, professional services and business operations, and at Isojepang Quality and Technology Solutions Ltd, we help organisations improve the reliability of their systems, processes and customer experiences.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who can take ownership of software and operational quality across a range of client projects. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, project coordinators and operational teams to identify issues before they affect customers.
This is a hands on mid level role for someone who enjoys investigating problems, improving processes and helping teams deliver dependable results.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Belfast office provides a professional and collaborative working environment where quality, accuracy and continuous improvement are taken seriously. You will work with supportive colleagues across technology, operations and project delivery.
Meaningful Responsibility:
You will not simply follow test scripts. You will help define quality standards, improve testing processes and influence how products and services are delivered.
Modern Tools:
Our teams use modern project management, testing and collaboration platforms to document requirements, track defects and communicate efficiently throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Career Development:
You will have access to professional development opportunities, internal training and support toward relevant quality assurance or software testing certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Testing:
Plan and carry out functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing across software applications and business systems.
Test Case Development:
Create clear test plans, test cases and testing documentation based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Defect Management:
Identify, document and track defects through to resolution. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to verify fixes and prevent recurring issues.
Process Improvement:
Review existing testing and operational processes and recommend practical improvements that increase quality, efficiency and consistency.
Requirements Review:
Work with business analysts and project teams to clarify requirements, identify risks and ensure acceptance criteria are complete and testable.
Reporting:
Prepare quality assurance reports, testing summaries and defect updates for project managers and relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Participate in project meetings, testing reviews and release discussions. Communicate quality risks clearly and professionally.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, systems testing or a similar role.
Testing Knowledge:
Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, defect tracking, test case preparation and user acceptance testing.
Tools:
Experience using defect tracking, project management or testing platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or similar systems.
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues, identify patterns and explain technical problems clearly.
Communication:
Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non technical colleagues.
Organisation:
Ability to manage multiple testing activities, prioritise issues and meet project deadlines.
Mindset:
You are methodical, practical and quality focused. You take ownership of problems and work collaboratively to deliver reliable solutions.
