Job Summary

Join our dynamic transportation team as a Taxi Driver, where your role is vital in providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services to our valued customers. You will be responsible for navigating urban and suburban routes efficiently while ensuring passenger comfort and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities in a fast-paced environment. Your dedication will help us deliver exceptional service and foster positive experiences for every rider.

Duties

Safely operate a taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical upkeep of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and appearance
Communicate clearly with passengers to understand their destinations, provide local information, or answer questions about the service
Navigate using GPS or traditional maps efficiently to reach destinations in a timely manner
Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when necessary, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Complete trip logs, mileage records, and any required documentation accurately for operational purposes

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or as a van driver with a strong understanding of road safety practices
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant licenses for taxi operation preferred
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle checks and minor repairs if needed
Experience working in warehouse environments or with flatbed trucks is a plus
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members
Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps for efficient route planning
Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading luggage or assisting passengers with mobility devices
