We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing product and design team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about creating intuitive digital experiences, solving complex user challenges, and shaping products that deliver meaningful business outcomes.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to design user centred solutions across web and mobile platforms.

You will play a key role in defining design strategy, improving user journeys, and mentoring designers while maintaining exceptional design standards throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end to end user experience design process from research through delivery.
Conduct user research, usability testing, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
Develop user personas, customer journey maps, information architecture, and interaction models.
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high fidelity designs using industry standard design tools.
Partner with product managers and engineering teams to deliver intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
Present design concepts, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders with confidence.
Contribute to the evolution and governance of the organisation's design system.
Ensure products meet accessibility standards and responsive design requirements.
Analyse user behaviour, product metrics, and customer feedback to inform design improvements.
Mentor junior designers and promote UX best practices across the organisation.
Work closely with cross functional teams to align user needs with business objectives.
Stay informed about emerging UX methodologies, technologies, and design trends.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior UX Designer, Lead UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user centred design across web and mobile applications.
Expert knowledge of Figma and modern UX design tools.
Experience with user research, usability testing, prototyping, and interaction design.
Strong understanding of information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and responsive design.
Experience working within Agile product development environments.
Familiarity with design systems and component based design.
Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Experience mentoring designers or leading design initiatives is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.
Experience with analytics platforms and data informed design decisions.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or front end development principles is beneficial.
Experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, fintech, healthcare, or ecommerce products is an advantage.
