Customer & Sales Manager
Location: Hopeman, Moray
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility may be considered)
About Us
Tulloch of Cummingston is an award-winning, family-run housebuilder with over 60 years of experience delivering high-quality new homes throughout Moray.
We pride ourselves on building homes to an exceptional standard while providing a highly personalised service. Unlike many national housebuilders, our customers have significant input into the design and specification of their homes, making every project unique.
As our business continues to grow, we're creating a brand-new role within the company and are looking for someone to help shape the future of our customer experience.
About the Role
This is not a traditional property sales role.
We're looking for someone with a background in construction, property or design who enjoys working with people and wants to become a key part of our growing management team.
You'll become the main point of contact for many of our customers throughout their home-buying journey, from initial enquiries and property viewings through to design meetings, customer choices and handover.
Alongside customer liaison, you'll also play a major role in developing the Tulloch brand, supporting our marketing activities and helping identify future business opportunities.
No two customers, and no two days are the same.
Main Responsibilities:
Customer & Sales
- Conduct customer meetings and property viewings.
- Guide customers through the purchasing process from enquiry through to handover.
- Coordinate customer choices, upgrades, extras and bespoke design alterations.
- Build strong relationships with customers throughout their build journey.
- Follow up sales enquiries and maintain excellent customer communication.
- Liaise with technicians, site managers and office staff to coordinate customer requests.
Marketing & Brand
- Manage and develop the Tulloch website.
- Maintain Rightmove listings and other property portals.
- Produce brochures, newsletters and other marketing material.
- Coordinate CRM communications and development releases.
- Create regular content across social media platforms.
- Coordinate photography and drone footage of developments.
- Prepare award submissions and company publicity.
- Continually develop and strengthen the Tulloch brand.
Development & Business Support
- Visit developments regularly to monitor progress and assist with snagging inspections.
- Assist with final account checks and customer extras.
- Help identify future opportunities by monitoring planning applications and supporting business development activities.
- Work closely with the directors to continually improve the customer experience and business processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in construction, property and design.
Ideally, you'll have experience in one or more of the following:
- Architectural Technology
- Residential construction
- Housebuilding
- Interior design
- Property sales
- Customer service
- Marketing
- Website management
- Social media
Experience in every area isn't expected.
A technical understanding of residential construction would be highly beneficial due to the bespoke nature of our homes and the level of design input our customers enjoy. However we're ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to turn their hand to a wide variety of tasks.
What We Offer
- Salary dependent on skills and experience.
- Long-term career within a growing family business.
- A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
- Training and development where required.
- The opportunity to become an important member of our management team.
- A supportive, friendly and award-winning working environment with genuine responsibility from day one.
Why Join Tulloch?
This is a rare opportunity to join an award winning independent housebuilder in a newly created position that offers real responsibility and long-term career prospects.
If you're passionate about property, construction and design, enjoy working with people, and want to help shape the future of an award-winning business, we'd love to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV and a covering letter explaining why you feel you'd be a good fit for the role.
