Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman/woman to join our team and ensure the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our facilities. This dynamic role involves tackling a wide range of tasks across various trades, from carpentry to electrical work, to keep our environment safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, furniture, and framing structures with precision and care
Conduct roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing
Carry out construction painting projects to refresh surfaces and enhance visual appeal
Handle plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures
Execute masonry work like patching walls, laying bricks or blocks, and repairing concrete surfaces
Operate welding equipment for fabricating or repairing metal structures and components
Install or troubleshoot electrical systems safely, adhering to all safety standards using hand tools and power tools
Utilize fabrication techniques to create custom parts or modifications as needed for various projects

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or related trades
Strong proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, pliers, etc.
Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and sanders
Knowledge of construction painting techniques and surface preparation methods
Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints for fabrication or repair projects
Experience working with construction materials like wood, metal, concrete, and drywall
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to repairs and maintenance tasks
