Food & Beverage Assistants

Overview of Role:

To offering customers excellent service standards on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guest
Ensure guests are seated and provided with menus promptly
Always deliver exceptional service to guests
Understand menu options and dietary requirements
Take food & beverage orders promptly
Maximize upselling opportunities and spend per head at every opportunity
Ensure food service area is thoroughly cleaned daily
Set-up, clear and service tables efficiently
To be fully aware of all reservations bookings in advance and inform staff of same
Ensure the restaurant/bar areas are clean and well presented at all times
Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with procedures
To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being always flexible.

Requirements

1 year experience in Food & Beverage service preferred
Accurate cash handling skills
High standard of personal presentation
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
Minimum 2 GCSE’s English & Maths with good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Strong communication and time management skills

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
